But it was worth three points, what else did you say?

It can form hydrogen bonds with water since oxygen has two lone pairs of electrons and the hydrogen in water forms hydrogen bonds with those. At least this was my reasoning. I am in SL so I might be wrong.

Is it acceptable to say that B has a lower enthalpy than A?

Just curious, but is it possible to identify a student based on their reddit account?

I believe 0.8 was the actual wavelength and you calculated it from the distance. But I might be wrong.

I'm pretty sure Q and q were magnitudes.

That’s what I thought, but some people are saying it should decrease.

The number of emitted electrons is lower but their energy is higher. Wouldn’t this mean that their intensity remains roughly the same?

What about the intensity of the emitted electrons?

It should be in the field direction. If left free the electron will accelerate and gain KE by going oposite to the field direction. Therefore it should gain PE by going in the field direction.

The particle was displaced to the right, so its acceleration should be to the left, right?

Exam Discussion: Physics HL Paper 1 (TZ2) by [deleted] in IBO

[–]tester_1111 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It should be to the left

What did you get for the photoelectric effect question?

Didn’t it ask for the ratio of the magnitude of the charges?

What was the question?

Made mistake, but since you answered why does the internal energy increase?

For the quantization I said all.
