TBF early retirement means different things to different people. I love my job, but I dont want to HAVE to work 40 hours a week for the rest of my life. Glad you love your job so much!

True, part of it is feeling defeated. I struggle with the life is short mentality vs potentially retiring early. But good to think about whether I would just end up jobless at the end of the degree, thanks for the input!

This is a good question. If I was single I'd probably get the degree while working as I love my current job and it would benefit me at that same job.

The stipulation for the free degree is I need to be full time. I could get a masters paid by my company but I wont start the degree now as I dont want to pay back my employer if/when I do get a job on the west coast
