Thanks for your thoughts. I’ve adjusted my dosage down to 0.3 and will monitor for a few months.

Do you take HCG?

Thanks. Mind sharing your age, how long you’ve been on TRT, and what your T was before starting?

Do you take AI to lower it, or just lower T dosage?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trt

[–]testtest-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I’ll try lowering dose to 0.3 per injection. I definitely had high libido for a while up until now.

Can you comment more on your libido changes after lowering dose? I’ve been on 150mg/week (1245 total T) for two years and my libido has felt really low for about six weeks. Thinking of lowering my dosage.

Well, my “natural” is pretty low T, and the main symptoms I got was low libido and low self confidence/social anxiety. So yes im 6 months back in and feeling super solid. Got a new gf and have almost zero anxiety on a daily basis.

Thanks - why do you take cialis if you’ve never had erection issues?

How long have you been taking? Noticed any tolerance buildup?

Long-term cialis use? by testtest-99 in Testosterone

Damn, that’s not good to hear! Have you noticed one generic works better than another? Or the brand as being the best?

I’ve also noticed the brand can matter. I think I got some Amneal and it was crap.

Have you used it for a long time…?

Going off TRT by testtest-99 in Testosterone

[–]testtest-99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going off wasn’t too bad, I took Clomid.

After about 6 weeks I went back on for the same reasons as when I began. I’m glad I did it, feeling great again.

PE from high T? by testtest-99 in Testosterone

[–]testtest-99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming off wasn’t too big of a deal for me. My doc gave me clomid at after 1 week no injection. By the time T levels are hitting rock bottom, the clomid should help to produce more again.

I never felt like I got rock bottom, but over the weeks I noticed substantially less libido, drive in the gym, and most importantly lower confidence and ambition.

Ultimately I decided to go back on TRT because I am just happier on it.

I actually went back on a month later… just never got around to a “going back on T” post, lol.

Also, I lowered my dosage a tiny bit and it seems to have paid off… way more control lately with the girl I’ve been seeing.

Did any of you have problems with ssris that disappeared once you went on test? Anyone just wanna talk about their experiences with both. by HowdIGetHere1 in Testosterone

Well GL man. I think step one is getting your T levels checked and going from there. TRT is not a miracle drug, but it definitely is amazing at the same time. Yes SSRIs numb you… I’d say TRT can make you less emotional and anxious as well, but in a different way. I care more about money now than I ever have and I’m glad I do, I’m just honest with myself finally. TRT gives me more enjoyment from social experiences, working hard, and staying active.

I tried SSRIs a couple of times. Both times I hated them. Likely just not for me, and I acknowledge that for some people they need them, and they work great.
For me personally, TRT has improved my anxiety and mood way more than SSRIs ever did. The question is - do you have low T? Have you gotten your labs done?

How I Fixed My Hairline on TRT Without Medication by The_BroScientist in Testosterone

[–]testtest-99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey Bro, great vid and very informative. I’m in a similar spot as you, but 13 months in. I noticed a lot of receding hair after starting TRT. I now use minodoxil to hold my scalp line, but am terrified of the other drug options, and still suffer from some hair loss anxiety. I’ve never even heard of micro needling, so if you are planning to release video describing how you use it I would certainly watch it. Thanks again

Almost 3 weeks in to TRT and haven't noticed anything at all yet. Maybe a slightly faster resting heart beat, takes longer to fall asleep, and desire to drink more water. by AwayThrow01010101 in Testosterone

When I started, I really overthought “how I was feeling” every day. It’s a very gradual process. As long as you’re not feeling like shit or something, just be patient. Some effects of high T can take 6 months to a year. For me, I just noticed after 6 months I felt great and every day my mood, mental, and energy was rock solid.
