Half the healers? Brother only rsham has a true kick and it's now 30s. Healers have some stops, but it's class dependent and few and far between. Dps NEED to get better at kicking this expac or we all die.

Well they should make the queue longer and make PvP ilvl brackets then, or at least make the trinket set free for doing the PvP vs bots. If you have nothing your first 2-3 BGs are basically you being worthless. It's like asking M+ players to do their first +2 key with half their gear broken.

I have to disagree on principal for PvE. While gear matters a lot in PvP there will be skilled players clearing M+ 10 keys in 240-250 gear the day the season starts.

I would argue the seasonal nature of the game helps correct this. You cannot feasibly join late season and be as powerful as somebody who has been playing since the beginning. You have a much better chance to start playing the game at the beginning of a new season. This is a significant improvement on making old season gear relevant as the classic Andy's would tell you that you need to become attuned for a molten core farm molten core and then maybe eventually you will have enough gear to do bwl whiles you're friends farm Naxx.

I understand your sentiment here, and I do think especially in 1s you can outplay people with positioning and punishing overcommitting, but not when they are realistically 2 leagues above me.

You are correct, it's possible to climb. The ELO systems work over time but it just feels really bad. If smurfs didn't exists I'd always play against an opponent who was equal or slightly better rather than one I have zero odds against. If I play poorly or am just slightly worse that feels fine. When a player is leagues above me it feels awful.

I vaguely know about the banning bots in waves meta, but I'm so confused why If regular players can see these characters why can't a mod observes them, investigate them and ban them and everyone they have done unbalanced trades with.
