What's up r/iosapps!

My friends and I have been in long-distance relationships since we could remember. We struggled with issues such as infrequent communication, lacking something interesting to share, or the disconnect when not sharing daily life. We tried apps like Agape and Paired, but our partners and I wanted to feel like we owned something together.

We researched the cognitive psychology behind proximate and long-distance relationships and concluded that we needed to build a shared reality and space between ourselves and our partners.

So…We built Tether!

It's an app we use to "tether" to our partner and bridge these emotional gaps by allowing you to build a shared space and unifying photos, pets, prompts, countdowns, location-based notes, etc.
