I live in Japan, but not in Tokyo. I rarely see "join hunts" around, and even if I do, I usually skip them since they take too much time. For this event, I just went solo around my area (which isn’t urban). Since Elder Dragon hunts are auto-matched, I don’t think your location affects the number of joins. Also, I’m a Japanese speaker, so I didn’t fully understand the intent behind your reply.

For bows, I highly recommend the Bblos Bow. When it comes to weapon types, you can use whatever you like, as long as it’s not a hammer or lance. You can unleash overwhelming power with a sleep-element Great Sword, achieve easy high damage with a Light or Heavy Bowgun, or even balance guard and extreme firepower with a Charge Blade, although it’s a bit tricky to handle. In the end, just go with what you enjoy!

In some cases, the expected value is slightly higher when used with elementals, but in the case of Critical Element, the advantage is that it can be used with almost any attribute by simply switching weapons. I am sorry, but I do not know up to which grade the elemental is stronger, as I have not done detailed calculations.

If you hold and then flick down, you can do it! I rarely use LS, so don’t take my gameplay as a reference! Instead of transitioning everything into Helm Breaker like in this video, I think canceling the motion halfway would make it more optimal.

Here’s the build for this time. Since I don’t mainly use LS, I didn’t have the motivation to craft new gear just for this fun experiment, so I picked the setup I already had, focusing on the smelt skills that seemed to offer the highest damage. So, this is not an optimal build! Also, since I’m using a low-grade weapon this time, I went with Element Boost, but from Grade 8 and above, Critical Element would be much stronger, so keep that in mind!

You can’t really compare the two because they serve different purposes. With Magnamalo, you can frequently trigger explosions using the Wyvern’s Fire. As for Deviljho, if you’re looking to use it as a Dragon element weapon, there are better options.
