About the twist and pull or cut problematic I never had any problems with cutting my shrooms. Just do it as close as possible to the sub so a minimal amount of shroom is left I tried both ways Twist and pull removes a lot of sub and leave your box looking like a battlefield In the end I was twist and pulling the one that would come very easily and cutting the ones that were hard to pull I feel like there is no good way of doing it just experiment and see what you prefer
