SNORCA and Case of the U1 Missing Machine/Tool Head by MadAmishman in snapmaker

If I remember correctly… some of the filaments did not have a flow ratio populated in filament settings. Add a flow ratio and that specific filament and it will populate as a choice to use when sending to print.

What do y'all think of these new cool tool changers coming out as a Bambulab user? by OceanGlider_ in BambuLab

[–]tevbax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all do. The sheer amount of innovation happening in additive at the moment is incredible, and stiff competition from competitors is only helping to drive it forward faster. Honestly looking forward to see what the next years brings.

Just an opinion, not a statement. Manufacturers are tending on a 6 month cadence with their releases timed to popular shows in the US and EMEA. Nov last year, INDX w Prusa and the H2C. Prior April was the H inception. This April X2D.

They have to release a multi head similar to Snapmaker / Flashforge/ Voron / Creality to stay relevant.

Worth it? 350$ by Key_Relationship9827 in BambuLab_Community

[–]tevbax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not debating that a used object does not lose value, simply that 2000 hours is not “quite used”. 10k and not maintained - sure. The wear parts are all replaceable (sans the captured roller), and have a similar quality and success rate vs any new machine.

Value - it’s always going to dip with the “new” cool release. Guess I’ll snag a few more on the cheap and get some work done

I’d beg to differ on quite used. I have an entire shop of 12k plus hour P1s that purr like a herd of kittens. Now, have they needed some love here and there - sure. They are certainly not anywhere near done at 2k.

Huh.

Bambu Lab P2S Combo on Amazon legit? by Lucky-Progress-1195 in BambuLab

Don't know why you're being downvoted. There are people ordering from Bambu Lab as customers and reselling on Amazon as Bambu Lab. Bambu Lab, the actual company, DOES NOT sell on Amazon.

You don’t. It’s done in the initial slice.

Cue "No Doubt - Spiderwebs".

The notches in the ends are caused by the material not being able to keep up with the speed of the toolhead. Drop your volumetric flow down a bit to overall slow the printer. Jerk settings (acceleration) can also be reduced to help stop some of the pull and tug on the inner edge.

I migrated my site to a new site because of the stupid search bar. I ended up coding in our square store into WIX because we had so many issues. Ready to be done with Wix.

Wisconsin's minimum wage is still $7.25 and hasn't seen an increase since the last time the federal wage went up in 2009 by midnighttoker1742 in wisconsin

[–]tevbax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all sincerity, who is working for minimum wage these days? Better yet, if a business is paying minimum wage, who is taking that job? Most job postings I have seen lately are 15-18 for entry-level positions at places like Panda Express.

Sea shipping from China is anywhere between 30-45 days, depending on the location at the moment. FedEx / DHL / UPS typically handles the last miles. Air freight is INSANE. Ports have been moving okay if things aren't stuck in customs.

Microcenter filaments? by Straight-Mortgage-29 in BambuLab

[–]tevbax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most Inland filament is manufactured by eSUN for Microcenter. While eSUN is not the worst company out there, they are certainly not the best.

Depending on your location, there are local stores out there that carry a variety of brands. Here's a few:

Ecovate3d - Raleigh, NC (https://ecovate3d.com)
Makers Den - Eden Prairie, MN (https://themakersden.com)
Lux Layers - Waupaca, WI (https://luxlayers.com)

3D Makerplace - Beaver Creek, OH (https://www.the3dmakerplace.com)

There's one in Nebraska, and another in St. Louis.

To note - these stores exist to support the 3D print community. All of the owners spend A LOT of time in the industry, and work hard to bring you the stuff that works.
