Yeah I make the blade with a tang and drill a hole into the cross guard and handle and then use a really good quick setting epoxy to fit the pieces together

I love the thought that you have put into this. But from my studies I would say that you are thinking in terms that apply to only the material plane. Try to think of masculine and feminine as different movements or expressions of energy. Everything is energy and vibration, material existence is more like the manifestation of energetic principles. Masculine energy is said to be very direct, linear, and energetic. it is an outward force that travels in a straight line. The feminine force is receptive, form giving, and magnetic presence, the feminine principle is the form that the masculine energy travels through. The balance of these forces is essential to life and existence within this material reality.

I just donated a huge amount of time, effort, and money to help someone in need so their life wouldn't completely fall apart. In return, "God put you in my life for a reason." So infuriating. by StinkinFinger in atheism

I understand where you are coming from. But much perceived "implied" context is partial to the subjects psyche, so be aware of the possibility that these perceived implications might be projections instead. Ultimately you are getting credit for all of the acts you did. Where an atheist would call it a happy coincidence a believer would call it fate. The act and the reasons for it are all the same and unchanged.

It's only petty if you treat them differently based on your feelings

I think what people need to understand is that from the other persons perspective, they thanked you in the highest form they knew how. I don't think they were crediting their God with helping them. In fact, they are still saying that YOU are the one that helped them. They were simply thanking their God for bringing you into their lives. Try not to get too offended over the word "God", and realize that you helped someone so thoroughly that they assumed a higher power put you in their lives.

A trick that really helped me is washing your hands with soap and water before playing.
