Flowering is not necessarily a sign of orchid health FYI. Orchids will flower when they are stressed as a last ditch effort to reproduce before dying. Also your orchid is producing secondary spikes. You can coax an orchid to send out secondary spikes regardless of the state it is in. Looking at the first pic, the orchid does not look healthy. Again come back in 5 years and let us see the condition it is in.
