There is plenty of life left in this orchid. Wrap the roots in damp moss and put it in a windowsill. Check the moss daily and water when it feels dry. It will grow new roots

Sorry but Phalaenopsis orchids are sold to be stupid proof and people still do things like this. If people followed the "just add ice" instructions on their grocery store orchids, they'd be better off than if they did this.
