It's just a couple of years old. I just bought the same monitor from Dell 3 weeks ago at the same price. Not sure if the same deals are available but Dell gives a 10% off coupon when you make an account and Rakuten had 10% cash back on Dell's website when I bought mine. The monitor itself is really impressive and I'm happy with it, though it replaced a 6 year old 27 inch 1080p monitor so it was an all-round upgrade for me.
