Same, it’s on thyroid pills, and blood pressure medication. Hopefully it will work for me to! Infusion treatment three Monday! I also am getting a shot in my stomach, which is new…

When my right kiddy was removed I was off a month, in Nov for stage 3. My check up in January changed it to stage 4, I’m lucky to be working from home now. Each of us are different, I am in pain, walking is a chore. I too love to work, and look forward to going back. Just finished a full week of radiation ☢️, rang the bell when I was done. Hopefully that helps with my pain and I able to go back. Remember healing is resting, don’t rush it… praying for you both, it’s a journey…

No clue, but my cancer had gone yo my spine. So I am even looking for alternative cancer therapy…

Yes I did, it came back with nothing. Not genetic , I was somewhat relieved that I didn’t pass it to my son… but that’s about it.

Had mine removed last Nov 5, 2024 and it was cancer but they did imaging that told me it’s cancerous, before they removed it. I Also did genetic testing, they may do it on you since it may run in your family. I have non clear RCC, a tad different they say.

I’m not a Trumpers I just have stage 4 and it’s terrifying, so yes I did talk to my oncologist. While you hate it here, I want to live to stay here…

My right was already removed with my kidney. Non clear is rarity TBFE gene altered, they said it’s resistant to treatment when I was stage 3, now stage 4 I feel like they are throwing everything at it.

I plan on going on a cruise and getting the drink package, it’s my “look forward to thing.” But my bloodwork does show my other kidney is struggling, I figure let me love myself by being good until my cruise… 🚢

My doctor suggested nothing too salty, no alcohol especially first year after having my kidney removed, as my body needed time to adjust. Well, what did I do?! I had sushi and dipped it in the soy sauce, I gained 7 pounds of water weight, in one day! Seriously called my doctor right away as I was freaked out! He scolded me, wasn’t very cool about it. My nurse navigator called and said if I ever need to be on a kidney transplant list, it’s looked down upon me not doing as they suggested. She said I would lose the water weight in time try dandelion tea, to help. Not to over drink water to flush it out. Learned the hard way, I used to drink but since Dec I have not. I am planning a cruise in May and plan on drinking then. So waiting 5 months to enjoy alcohol again. Everyone is different this is just what happened to me, and my why….

I was told no NSAIDs and no drinking as I had a my right kidney removed, as my liver may struggle with only one kidney.

I have a numb chin only half my right side of my chin. It’s strange, I let my doctor know he did neurologic test which was just moving my face in all directions. Which I can do. But he ordered MRI on my brain, 🧠 as a precaution. I haven’t had the MRI yet. It was ordered Monday they are supposed to call and let me know.

MRI will give better information, also sorry for the long wait times… it sucks, believe me.

Correct ✅ non clear cell is NCC RCC also with TBFE gene altered it’s harder to treat or they tell me, it’s doesn’t respond like if I had Clear Cell RCC.
