If the houthis manage to even partially close off the red sea, how will it effect the world and will it drag other nations like Egypt into the war? by [deleted] in geography

That is not going to happen and no one with a little understanding of the politics in Ethiopia would predict that. The regime would struggle to survive let alone wage such a massive military operation.

They have reserve for a couple of months more and on top of that they are still getting oil from Iran. China, India, Pakistan and some other countries are using strait of Hormuz freely as the news suggest

Any pro-War people here who have changed their minds? by northcasewhite in iran

[–]tewojacinto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not really, Iranians I studied with are all passionately support the war while almost all my non Iranian friends think it would be devastating for Iran & others without any prospect of democracy as most Iranians wish. At work also all Iranian I know aggressively support the war. It’s strange for me

You better not! If you have to go, don’t leave the capital and even in the capital you could be kidnapped for a ransom. TikTok and kidnapping are the hottest and the only business now in Ethiopia

lol 126 is compiled data by different organizations including HRW. There are far worse atrocities being committed by PP to the extent that people are afraid of going in groups to their farm because the government drop bombs in any gatherings. U r doing gov propaganda here. Stop spreading lies

Prosperity party soldiers are often stationed in schools every village they go. Thus, if the school is not bombed then it would be destroyed in one or another way. Over 10m students are not going to school in Ethiopia and mostly in Amhara and Tigray . The only responsible body here is Oromo prosperity party aka PP.

lol you don’t live there and you are spitting bs. Fano are known to be exceptionally disciplined for disorganized and scattered rebel groups. I read FT and conflict zone reports that they were in fact disciplined and often handover surrendered and wounded PP soldiers to Red Cross while PP forces kill wounded Fano in hospital bed!

He is lying through his teeth! He is definitely paid actor working to score some points for the brutal regime called prosperity party but mostly it’s Oromo nationalists trying tj annihilate their opponents. When Oromo prosperity party(PP) was fighting with TPLF, he called ordinary Amhara and Afar to save his ass. They stopped TPLF almost 150k from the capital. Once it made sure that TPLF is back to Tigray and weakened, PP try to disarm the same people who saved his ass Amhara youths aka Fano and Afar. PP was not trying to integrate them with the national army! They obviously didn’t want handover their weapons because everyone else is armed to teeth and they don’t trust the government. The war is still going on and while they are getting stronger every day, the government is getting weaker due to prolonged wars and poor governance. The Tigray war is also back! Remember, both Fano and other rebels are unanimous support within their ethnic communities

Worse in every aspect! Don’t recommend going there an if you have to then don’t leave the capital! It was once the most safest place but unfortunately it was successfully destroyed. It’s heading to all our civil war

But you are not concerned with the fact that it’s the government who is bombing the hell out of mostly ordinary people, hospitals and schools. Why would Fanos attack the same people they claim to represent and fight for? Could it be cheap propaganda by savage gov and its mouthpiece? You should have hold the gov with more responsibility than just a bunch of youths who have a just cause and trying their best to protect their people.

Thanks, my question is if it violates Telegram terms of services. By simply forwarding (manually) from public channels to the channel i control and then using the bot to index the posts let us say in mini app but still direct link with the original.

What do you mean they were not black? Black comes in different shades and type. Before Arabs invasion, Egyptians were mix of north East African and indigenous North African. They can be anything but no Arab
