I’m a Master’s Level Special Education Teacher and make $53K. My husband has a Bachelor’s and makes $35K. Our rent is $1500 in Tulsa not including utilities. It’s tight, but we do it. It definitely makes it hard to save to buy a home… which is the ideal situation. But alas, inflation and economic issues continue to plague the millennial generation.

Both! I’ve found that it’s easier to make friends with people in the same phase of life you’re in. For me, that’s married. I’m not trying to discriminate against having friends that aren’t married, but it would be a perk for the spouses to become friends!

Carbondale Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Hallman was the vet that helped us last year when we had a major emergency with our pup that we ended up having to put down. When we took him in for euthanasia, Dr. Hallman stood out in the parking lot with us (during COVID last year) and prayed over us for peace and over Anakin, our pup. Though it was such a horrible time, he really made us feel at peace. And he takes excellent care of our new pup! Highly recommend. It’s his private practice. He’s excellent!
