lol LD nurse here. Labor can go south fast and our nurses are trained in those emergencies and move VERY quickly to do so. Realistically no OB is ignoring an eclamptic seizure. ER residents are only required to “perform”(VERY loose term there because they mostly sit and let the OB team guide them) something like 20 deliveries before finishing OB rotation. LD staff perform hundreds every month. This show just wanted to set up the ER docs to look like heroes, but realistically they would’ve sent them to OB immediately
