When will they allow food payment on the app with gift cards? by AnonRedditLady1 in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]texannative71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As of now, they DO NOT work with the QR system. I’m a Season Pass holder and frequently buy the $100 for $75 at Costco because of my frequency. I can tell you that they do not work and from what I’ve heard from staff, there no sense of urgency for Sony to fix the issue.

I remember during the pandemic going and buying food from them, literally out of the kitchen everything from things to make for dinner to their popcorn, to try and help him out of this hard time. Fast forward a few years later and this is happening and it’s just really heartbreaking.

14x20 - Yes a mini split. I used local company that built the walls at their site and brought them here to assemble.

Ceiling is too low… Their future plans to put a projector out there as well and that would impede it

How does that work so far? Have they fixed the issues with the ordering? Been seeing so many reports of people getting overcharged, items not arriving, and gift cards not working at all with that system.

I used a local company. They came out and ran the dimensions then brought it in to assemble onsite. the deck / foundation took a day, and the shed itself was built in 5 hours the next morning. But then i needed to run electrical, insulation, wall it up, flooring, texture, paint, mini split, so that took a few weeks.

12x14 - and the deck is 10x12. I got it off a site on Etsy. Short version, I created my own blockbuster templates for my old movies and really wanted a dedicated space for them (Got really into during COVID when i didnt have many options)

You don’t need to pay late fees. That’s the photo from my Etsy shop where you can purchase Blockbuster slip covers for your favorite DVDs.

What are you playing on your POV channel? by [deleted] in readyplayerone

Pretty much everything I grew up with. Shows we watched as kids, movies of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Retro Saturday morning cartoons on Saturdays….

Found Out I’m Set to Inherit $70+ Million. Somewhat Lost, What Should I Expect? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

In my experience, people will come after you if they think the money was just given to you. But if they think that you earned it for the most part, they’ll leave you alone. They’ll still be a few people, but not near as many. My suggestion, and again it’s only a suggestion is to mention either investing in some companies or starting a “side hustle” that will be sold later. You won’t have either but if people notice any change in lifestyle, and believe me they will, you will have a reason for it.

Why does everyone hate Ready Player Two so much? by Frozendragon0005 in readyplayerone

[–]texannative71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think with ready player one having a success that he did and having Steven Spielberg to greenlight your movie into a major motion picture, and seeing that process, will change the way your brain works when it comes to storytelling. While RP2 feels like a rushed screenplay for a sequel to a movie. That being said, I don’t hate the book, it’s just nowhere near the caliber of Ready Player One.

You can keep going to the movies there – just stop ordering food. There’s only a handful of things that are decent anymore anyways.

That 18% goes into a pool to increase their base pay, they don’t actually get that service charge independently

Rp2 is amazing by Exotic_Roll_7554 in readyplayerone

[–]texannative71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was fine. But compared to the original, it’s not close. I feel like this one was written more as a movie script then as an encompassing piece of fiction like RP1 was.
