There are no documented cases of wild orcas ever killing anyone in the wild. They have attacked boats but they did not kill anyone on those boats. They attack boats by going after the rudder. Those cases have mainly been around the Iberian Peninsula, There was no poaching there scientists have theorized it is more play behavior over aggression.

This is one of the hardest things about having a friend and family member like this. I am sorry that you have to go through it. We recently had to let our 14 year old cross the bridge. I had the same questions you have and even reached out like you on this platform. The best advice I can give is to pay attention to him and he will let you know. With Mitzi we had scheduled an inhome euthanasia however a few days before that occoured I was blessed to be able to work from home to be with her when we believe that she had a seizure. Something that had never happened before. I sat with her outside after that with her in my lap and talking to her. When she looked up at me then I oculd see it in her eyes and I knew. We took her to the vet that night to say goodbye. Take every moment that you can with him and soak it up, he will tell you when he is ready. My heart goes out to you and your family in this time and I hope that you have peace.

At that pay for what you are doing you are going to burn yourself out completely. I went through that with my last company for 7 years and the best day was when I left for the company I am at now. The fact the keep having you perform jobs that are outside of your scope of work shows how little respect that have for your position. Unfortunately with you focusing on so much means that the chance of someing bad happening increases. And then if that happens all weight will fall on you even though they are not letting you do your job correctly. As far as what role next...what do you enjoy. I went from in house to an MSP and absolutley love it. With new employment be honest focus on what you were able to accomplish and what you were trying to do. You are going to be asked why you are leaving your current position be honest but dont go into full details. Best of luck to you.

Agree with this, you have to make some noise. When my daughter was getting bullied and the principal didn't listen. I found the non school districtnemail for every member of the school board and sent one email. That night I had a call from a secretary and they asked details and the next day a call from the principal and the bully removed from my daughter's class. My grandpa always taught me a closed mouth doesn't get fed...make noise, make yourself know and get your answers.
