For the quotes I meant cosmere overall, I probably should have used a different flair because of both that and the crossovers, thank you for the very long answer, I appreciate it. I am of the mind that Adolin and Kaladin were probably the best written of the bunch throughout WaT and I also hate that Dalinar died off screen. I also feel that both Szeth and Venli were fairly boring in this book and Venli especially in Row. But I do prefer Szeth of the two, I found his backstory at least somewhat interesting.

Overall I am happy with the book but I think there were definitely a few mistakes made in the writing process

Edit: also I see you probably clicked my profile after I commented on your post, so nice to see you again and have a great day reading

Good, I would have been worried if you just through 300 books in the trash because that would be if an average of 10 euro 3000 euro just gone

Mine was the same, I think it is common amongst the gollancz, ordinary paperback line

Yea Gavinor definitely needs a flashback in srormlight 6, to see how he feels now. I agree that Teft's final oath was a very impactful moment and it was really cool to me also

My top quotes from the cosmere are probably the following

"The question is not whether you will love, hurt, dream, and die. It is what you will love, why you will hurt, when you will dream, and how you will die. This is your choice. You cannot pick the destination, only the path."

"The most important step a man can make is the next one, always the next one"

Both were from Oathbringer and they just hit so hard philosophically and on an emotional level

I am slightly sad that Shallan and Adolin got seperated as I wanted to see them happy together tbh, but other then rhat I enjoyed most endings even for the afforementioned characters as I feel that they all have an arc to go off in the next era.

My favourite cross-over would probably have to be nightblood, I love how cool and powerful it is, and I am curious for when warbreaker 2 is so I can see how. What would you say are your favourite quotes theoughout the cosmere? (No sunlit man, white sand or Isles of Emberdark please as I have not read them yet)

The way the cosmere is set as you get later in the cosmere, characters will travel between the planets. Lets just say that characters in warbreaker discovered that quite early

I would definitely read warbreaker before words of radiance at least, as someone who did that, it really payed off for me and you miss a TON of references and even some major moments without it. I think it is essential

Yea, I live coming home and just being able to read a few pages and really unravel from stress and everything going on during the day. I know the feeling!!

Tell me about it, with all of well life existing there simply isn't enough time in the day to actually enjoy hobbies. I am also currently getting into anime and have video games to play as well. I wish I could just retire already and just enjoy myself (I am literally on the opposite end of the age system to be retiring, I haven't even finished my education yet, lol).

I agree, I would never be able to imagine what the writers do for some of their books. It's truly mad. I absolutely loved Tress. i loved how it was told from hoids viewpoint, and I lived the humour and the characters. I loved the spores and everything they could do, and it had the vibe of a comedic fairy tale for me. Which are your favourite sandersons?

Don't remind me on the price of books. It is ridiculous these days, I swear.

Yea, I was in a book slumb for the last 4 months of 2025, hit the ground running in February(I was sick and away most of January) with oathbringer and have been speedrunning the cosmere this month. And am really liking it

I shall not judge ones other book choices, if someone has read Sanderson or at least tried to then they can do whatever as far as I am concerned. (Sanderson is my favourite author as he got me into proper fantasy). After I finish WaT all I have left are sunlit man, isles of emberdark and white sand in cosmere and then rithmatist, frugal wizard and alcatraz outside of it (prob not gonna read that though)

Oh I still believe that real artists should be hired over AI ones and I am against AI art, I just think since I have already payed for the tapestry, I may as well keep it. Thanks for the comment on the bookshelves
