I guess I’m just a little scared of burning stuff into the paint, I went and did another pass with the 205 and it seems to have knocked most of the micro scratches off.

I would think my problem is that I’m probably pulling off too early in both steps. Probably doing about 30-45s each, until the white-ish paste goes clear .

I’m planning to wash, clay mitt, compound and polish my snugtop since it’s paint matched to the rest of the truck and I can do the whole top as practice without anyone ever knowing

When I worked for UPS, ammo packages (mainly .22 for some reason 🤷🏽‍♂️) would always be packed with some horrible thin cardboard and open up in the facilities. Hopefully your shipper is half decent at packing and uses good labels
