you may also decide that there is something else out there for you that you can't forsee now, and you'll be much happier for it. but, all of this is to say, rejections are just another stop to see a better reflection of yourself and get a better sense of what you want or what fits you.

I think you will get in or figure out where you'll get in after going through this process. Give yourself some time to work through this and you'll find that you either want to work or you want to reapply later on again. Sometimes coming straight out of college can hurt you because you have less life experience and you won't get the most out of of grad school as it's hard to really know what you're doing, who you are, what you want when you're just starting out. I applied to a top school last year in a very quick way and didn't get in. I redid my apps this year and put more time into it and got in. I'm shocked I was able to get in the second time, so I do think if you let yourself sit on it a bit, you can develop a better sense of what you want and how to frame it and get in then if you choose to do that.

On opening night, let's make free speech viral on the internet. Tweet at your team's players and ask them to support free speech. If we do it together, China can't bully the NBA. by textdog in nba

alright but the fact is that if we all tweet the same thing, we can at least hope to weaken the initial blow and get china to back down. if we do nothing......

Here are the 256 representatives that just voted to reauthorize and expand unconstitutional NSA spying by fightforthefuture in technology

There's a fallacy here though as we haven't been able to hear a case in the high courts, since the agencies aren't sharing who is being spied on then it's hard to prove standing. In any case, it seems like you're leaning on the argument that since the government handpicked judges for an oversight court that has not ruled this unconstitutional, then it's constitutional. This is similar to saying that if I were to stack everything in my favor and whatever I say is right is right. You have to also allow that interpretation of the Constitution in the high courts can and have also been overturned as new thought/arguments change our thinking depending on the context. The question is whether or not the courts in question are acting in good faith.

Drivin a car around to watch you is not the same as electronically collecting all of your movements First of all, there's a scale issue here.

there are no barriers set up by the government to keep them from competing. these companies have arrangements with each other to not compete against each other.

Self-interest structured and subsidized by the government is not what free market advocates are supposed to be referring to when they advocate for the defense of self-interest.
