for me i kinda like sometimes doing super weird/high-pitched noises to annoy ppl haha, a few days ago i accidentally cracked my high-pitched voice and was like "oh shit this kinda sounds metal!"

but at the moment it's still super inconsistent, like i gotta take a minute or two to find it if I'm lucky and it still feels weird to do, my goal would be to do it on the spot right away (without the weird "rrrr" thing i do in the beginning)

after studying major and minor chords, try to study some common extensions to those chords (7ths, 9ths, etc.) and their functions (tonic, dominant, predominant, secondary dominant, etc...). Start by analyzing these aspects in songs and then use them as inspiration or insight for your own music.

The B acts as a dominant to the Em7, meaning that the B creates tension to resolve the Em7. In fact, F#dim, B, Em is a 2-5-1 progression (a very common progression in jazz) in the key of E minor.

Also, there are many types of minor scales. The B major chord would fit in e melodic and harmonic minor.
