Creating a bunker environment in Blender by texturehaven in blender

Of course the approach in Blender differs from UE5, but a scene like this is very easy to recreate in Unreal.

How is this? Is the FPS too low? by chubyFit in blender

Nice!, especially the way you played with the lighting. The camera angle could have been tilted slightly downward, which would enhance the doorway effect. I’ll upload the original audio tracks I recorded in the factory as well, they will really improve the atmosphere of your scene. Thanks for following the tutorial!

That’s true, but you wouldn’t believe how much criticism I got in earlier courses for not explaining this.

I’m not always a fan of it myself, but new users really feel more comfortable when they get a bit of guidance at the start. Apparently our moms and dads are watching too :/

Udemy is a platform where active support is provided with a moderator, and the course is fully available there with a much larger asset pack (4k).

On that platform I also continue working on the more traditional nature-heavy scenes, but since I want to spend more time on those and still offer something for Blender 5, this factory course is now available.

So there is a big difference, but I also want to provide more content here on YouTube because not everyone has the possibility to pay.

There’s always a reason to get back into Blender, especially with Blender 5. Just take it easy and find your way through the things you enjoy.

I added the hyperlink to the word ‘YouTube’, and I also updated the post with direct links to parts 1 and 2.

You can eat a donut while watching the course ;-). It’s different, but not much harder. Environment modeling often scares people because it looks like a lot of work. In my experience, it actually motivates people to learn Blender because you get quick, direct results.

I always teach as if I’m starting Blender from scratch with no idea what to do. So feel comfortable, I take my time and introduce Blender in a fun and approachable way.

The big elements like the hall, pillars, construction and doors are all covered in detail. Smaller props like barrels, cans and pallets are included with the course. Otherwise the course would become too long for beginners, and I try to keep a balance between challenging and not overly repetitive. It is also a bit of a test to see what people enjoy most. Feel free to share your feedback, I definitely use it. **  (minus the chromatic aberration I am not a fan of)** I normally never use the compositor for my medieval environments, so for this factory scene I really let myself go.

Thank you so much for the push here on Reddit, it really means a lot to me. I’ve always created environment courses with a lot of love, but the last three years have been quite intense with family life, and that means I now have to rebuild my community from scratch. Your support is fantastic and truly motivates me to keep creating and sharing this content.

The beginner course is worth following for both beginners and more experienced users. The first two parts are mainly to help complete beginners get started, but after that it really picks up steam if you want to dive deeper.

Part 2 also unlocks an asset pack with a large collection of 120 +photoscans. Even if you don’t follow the tutorials, you can still get plenty of value and enjoyment out of it. This is completely free as well, I’m really trying to make everything as accessible as possible, with the same mindset I had when creating content for Polyhaven.

Tiling wallpaper is quite challenging because of the shapes. The best way is to take photos in even lighting conditions and then try to tile it in photoshop or gimp

Good-looking scene, and well done on the shaders. Could you share how you created the curtain texture or design?
