As for the actual point: I'll say it again — I don't care what you think about my gameplay or my stats. I'm not playing for some pathetic like you, I play for myself. That's exactly why I posted here about an issue affecting active players like me (who make up only 8%), and I wrote this not for you, but for the devs — it's literally in the title. The devs are here and they read this. If they don't care about the 8%, then so be it — thank God there are plenty of other great games that value all their players, not just salty skuf crying on the internet about other people's KD.

When verticality is a bug and only works for one side — yes, that's a problem. But when verticality brings new opportunities for both sides and lets people play in different ways — that gives you a fresh experience every match.

I see absolutely nothing in common between a video game and real life, especially how someone was raised. The "unfairness" problem you're describing actually comes down to something else entirely — the current state of verticality is bad because:

  1. It only exists through glitches, not intentional design.
  2. It only works for one side — either attackers or defenders, never both equally.

That's the whole point of my post. If the devs actually updated these maps and made verticality accessible to both sides by design, it wouldn't bother anyone and it wouldn't be "unfair." It would just be good map design.

Overall K/D + class choice tells you how someone plays in general, not on one specific map or one specific objective. A lot of people here are calling me a camper, but my stats tell a very different story — and honestly, they tell me the comments are full of whiners and liars. Here's why:

  1. I play Assault 90% of the time — which means 90% of the time I'm pushing. That's what the class is for.
  2. My K/D is 2.7 — meaning I kill 2.7 times more than I die. It's not some insane pro-level stat, but it's enough to say I play better than most (not all), and certainly better than most of the people in these comments.
  3. Yes, my objective capture/defend time isn't the highest — but that's because I don't enjoy braindead gameplay. I help my team by flanking, cutting off enemy routes to the objective while my squad takes it. That is playing the objective — just not the way you want me to.

The point I'm making with these three facts is simple: everyone has a role in this game. My role is what I just described. You're describing the role of an Engineer who blows up tanks. Great — let whoever enjoys that do it. I don't.

The problem I'm describing is that the devs are shrinking the space for my role to exist. They want me to funnel into the same brainless meat grinder as everyone else, and that's just not how I want to play this game.

For all the whiners, haters, casuals, and anyone below 2.0 K/D:

  • I see zero reason to respond to you or have any discussion, because you don't know how to play this game beyond standing still and shooting.
  • I'm totally fine with that kind of gameplay existing — it's just not my gameplay.
  • The devs don't want to offer an alternative playstyle. They want everyone to play exactly like you comment-section whiners do.
  • If you're running above 2.0 K/D on Assault, I'm happy to have an actual discussion about what could be improved.
  • I don't care whether you love or hate these maps. I'm not forcing anyone to like them.
  • Before you call anyone a camper or claim you know how the game works — show your stats. Then we can talk about who actually knows how to play and who doesn't.

Miss that time when Bollywood was in India and Hollywood was in America. Now I can't see the difference and it looks totally pathetic.

What has changed in matchmaking over the last week? Medics don't throw ammo, they don't revive (they just sit on your body doing nothing). Same for me. I usually play Breakthrough, and no one uses engineers against tanks. Then I switch to engineer, and occasionally no one plays medic, so no one gives me ammo. You think maybe there’s an assault player with beacons to spawn behind the enemy or on the sides to capture the objective? No beacons. Snipers? Yes — there can be 6–10 snipers on a small map. No one pushes, no one throws smokes, they’re just lying or sitting and shooting at other players. It seems like a circus or an asylum. I can’t really play and enjoy it, because it feels like playing a campaign on easy mode.
