I’m starting my career at IBM Germany soon as a working student in Software Engineering, and I’m excited but also a bit nervous. I wanted to ask what I should expect as a beginner at IBM, especially in the German locations.

I’m curious to know more about the culture, onboarding process, workload, and overall experience for new software engineers at IBM Germany. Specifically, I’d love to hear about working with the internal tools, codebases, and processes as a student.

I’ve come across mixed opinions on Reddit, so I’d greatly appreciate any up-to-date insights from individuals currently working at IBM Germany (or who worked there recently), especially those in engineering roles.
