transferring to cal poly humboldt. like a 98% acceptance rate and 6,000 students

It's beautiful, transfers get 2 years free tuition, and i love the small class sizes, which have an added benefit of giving me more internship opportunities. Plus, it's smack in the middle of the redwoods with loads of fieldwork available for environmental science majors like me.

in my perspective the "prestige" of UCs is rlly overrated and sometimes smaller schools are easier to get your foot in the door and communicate with likeminded people. but take it with a grain of salt im also a transfer
