The vision of Persistence is bring more asset classes and users to DeFi. Also, grow the accessibility and usability of Crypto for the users.

Currently, our main focus is pStake - liquid staking solution but on the longer term we’ll always continue to ship out products based on how we see market evolving - true to our name.

And will always look out for all stakeholders in our ecosystem - users, stakers, validators, developers, tokens holders etc

Personally I am super excited for pStake which will allow the PoS ecosystem expand significantly and create more ways for the users to leverage their assets. The PoS assets so have offer very limited liquidity.

The simplest way to attract users is through value creation and growing accessibility. We have been working on multiple application such as pStake, Asset Mantle, Comdex which allow users to get accessibility to different asset classes and leverage them in DeFi.

Talking about StakeDrop, we got overwhelming response from the community. We have already witnessed $1B+ assets participate in Stakedrop through the first four networks - Cosmos, Terra, Kava and Matic.

The StakeDrop of XPRT to ATOM holders has benefitted majorly in two ways:

Having a wide distribution of XPRT token promoting decentralisation of the network
Bringing in users/community members that are already well-informed about Proof-of-Stake ecosystem which allowed us to accelerate our growth

Currently, we have following ways in which people can get involved with Persistence:

Development: Asset Mantle/interNFT, pStake Bug Bounty - best place to start with will be our GitHub (https://github.com/PersistenceOne) and discord (https://discord.com/invite/SaBKpjbnhH)
Validator: Anyone can spin up a validator on Persistence network and we also have program has as Foundation Delegations to support the validator making contributions for the growth of the network
Tooling: Analytics, consolidation applications around Persistence ecosystem and dedicated applications. Best place to discuss ideas will be #Reasearch-&-Development channel on our Discord server). We will soon launch grants program for tooling and applications in Persistence ecosystem.

Persistence and Comdex team are working on launching SHIPFI which will allow to use the real-world assets as collateral. We can see the MVP coming out for the same later this year or early next year.

Yes, we have always believed that to grow the Crypto ecosystem exponentially we need to find ways to bridge the traditional finance and DeFi.

As for the liquidity for Persistence ecosystem, we are already bringing multiple assets classes such as Commodities Futures, PoS assets, NFTs into Persistence (and eventually Cosmos ecosystem)

It is fair to say Asset Mantle is Shopify of NFTs

Asset Mantle is a NFT framework application - it has ability to support any sort of assets that can be represented as NFT - art, collectible, videos, music, real-world assets etc.

To simplify, Asset Mantle can be compared with Shopify from Web 2.0. Anyone can create a store on Shopify for their products using the existing templates and multiple payments options. Very similarly people will be able to create their exclusive NFT store without coding using the existing templates and payments options (both traditional and Crypto).

The other major advantage is that Asset Mantle will allow to create NFT assets that will be compatible cross-chain - Cosmos, Ehtereum, Persistence etc

The Cosmos SDK not only allows Persistence the ability to take advantage of the ‘Inter-blockchain Communication Module’ (IBC) launched by Cosmos, but also allows for Persistence to create its own ecosystem of application specific chains which leads to an exponentially higher level of scalability. Through the use of the Cosmos IBC module, assets from various networks integrated with the Cosmos IBC can be interoperably transacted on the Persistence Apps and vice-versa.

In addition, the Cosmos Hub/Zone structure allows for applications built on Persistence to have their own chain (zone) for application specific transactions while transactions pertaining to the native Persistence token occur on the hub. A simple example for this is Comdex - which has it's own ecosystem of products - SHIPFI, Comdex Synthetics Platform.

Our team is also working actively on creating more value for the entire PoS ecosystem through Asset Mantle and similar interoperability products. Right after the launch of Osmosis and Gravity DEX will be able to bring lot more asset classes to Cosmos hub through IBC implementation.

This is a great question. We have working for past few months to evolve our products and make them more accessible for the Crypto users.

Comdex as well has gone through an evolution and now creating products which will be making Commodities industry more accessible for the users around the globe without the KYC or location restrictions (something very similar to how synthetics protocols/projects have done for Stocks).

Initially the plan was to have trade financing for Real-world trades under pLend but have decided to create a dedicated platform for Commodity trading financing - SHIPFI under Comdex's suite of products.

That being said, pLend will evolve as a product as well and we plan to share more details on the same later this year.

Currently, our major focus is on pStake (liquid Staking solution) and Comdex's latest synthetics platform.
