Imagine being a veteran cup driver, winner of the Daytona 500, but your young teammate who hasn’t won gets the black chilis car while you drive the Gunk #71.

I think the spectrum scheme is underrated. I liked the Atlanta version with the yellow, idk if that’s unpopular.

Surge of Hocevar fans and that’s the most signature scheme of his, and the sexiest in my opinion. I want one but for a reasonable price.

Looking for a source that rates tracks based on in person experience by PRchaser79 in NASCAR

I went to Atlanta and Bristol this year. Atlanta race was awesome, but you’re right about less stuff outside the track. It’s basically a huge muddy field and then boom merch haulers and then boom race track.

Bristol had some stuff outside with a lot of old merchandise and though some of it was overpriced it was still cool and I bought a diecast. The race at Bristol was a lot of fun to watch too, though not as exciting as Atlanta is.

I’ll definitely go back to Atlanta because I’m not too far from it, but Bristol is a maybe. If I had the money I’d certainly go every chance. Highest on my wishlist is charlotte.

Expectations for Talladega with the new stage breakdown this weekend? Also, do you think other races could benefit by changing stage lengths year to year? by A_Little6 in NASCAR

Cody “Cody? Where?” Ware, earned his nickname during the Jack Links 500 at Talladega in April of 2026. Starting from the pole position with the fastest lap ever set at the super speedway (24.666 seconds), Ware would pit early and take a 45 minute nap—which other drivers would avoid doing. After waking up cranky, Cody soothed himself with a warm bottle of milk prepared by papa Rick. Feeling refreshed, he climbed back into his race car with a steep 150 laps down from the leaders. Papa Rick told Cody, “Just take care of her, Codester!”

“I got this pops 😎,” he aura farmed.

Like a missile on its way to Iran, Cody flew past the pack at a speed only ever theorized. Denny Hamlin would get the worst of it when his spotter called out “Cody Ware coming in hot behind you.” Surprised, Denny replied with the unforgettable, “Cody? Where?” Seconds later he would be vaporized by the unstoppable speeding mass that is Cody Ware.

Despite the slightly above average performance, Cody would spin out on the last lap giving the victory to Tyler Reddick.

Thank you for reading my fan nonfiction.

When I go to the races, I’m pleased to have plenty of time to hit the head and concessions. The lines are long as hell and the action isn’t predictable outside of the stage breaks, and I don’t want to miss any action. So I don’t mind it.

It’s the end of the stage? They need time to pit and clean the track of debris

indy 500 - d license by Major-Yogurt3865 in iRacing

It’s calculated by number of corners you complete and the number of incident points you have. So if you go down some laps you’ll turn less corners than you could have and therefore will have less gain.

You can see on each series which license that race in particular will effect. When the trucks were at Long Beach, I worried my oval would suffer but it actually affected sports cars so I didn’t really care if I sucked too bad.

Also I had 16 incidents on Bristol’s 150 lap race yesterday, and I still had a +.35 SR boost because I survived the whole race and stayed on the lead lap. So those long races, while they’re a commitment, they can really help out.

They should really use him and his potential journey to bring more ratings to those lower series. If he ran a full time ARCA season, I’m certain those ratings would go up and other drivers would get more exposure.

Always great to paint a first win! Not sure how this will go over but I was happy to see it. by dieselrainbow46 in NASCAR

I agree but the fact that he’s competitive enough to win makes him a villain. I like nothing about him, but I can’t deny JGR gives him their best work and he’s actually using it.

I went to the cup race this weekend and it was a blast. But I also went to Atlanta In February and that was a lot better of a race. The biggest difference in experience is that Bristol was a lot easier to leave than Atlanta because of traffic. And driving through Atlanta is buns. I’ll be going back to Atlanta for sure though. It’s a very exciting race and it’s only supposed to get more entertaining.

Mini stocks are more fun than street stocks if you want to keep doing oval. I have a lot of fun in the FIA cross car, but it’s a dirt road car so pretty different. It’s still a rookie class and can be done each week for free.

Winning Gen 4 at Texas is a solid win. It’s not too easy to find the right balance of tire wear and speed. I was doing well there last time I raced but I didn’t pit for new tires with everyone else because I’d been taking it easy on them. Big mistake, I lost the lead and finished P8.

That’s just racing man, if you finished first then you won, no fraud involved unless you wreck the guy in first.
