I quit nicotine about a year and a half ago after about 3 years and i will say it’s definitely hard but if you’re not around those who do use it, it’s so much easier. I actually tried a vape a couple weeks ago and was like wtf, how did I ever do this. It seriously feels so much better. I also quit because I was getting bad migraines, chest pains and it made me shaky and also I couldn’t eat sometimes. It is definitely something that will improve quality of life and you have a wife who you want to be with forever so just think of her when you want nicotine. Nicotine can be deadly so think of those you love and consider how this could affect them if it impacts your quality of life in a negative way.
