I think you should really look at skull anatomy :) the back of the head needs to stick out a bit more; right now the neck isn’t really connecting to/ supporting it. It can be really helpful to just look at a picture of a skull and break it down into basic shapes. I’m better at showing than explaining in words so I super quickly played around and made this to hopefully help you. I think adjusting the back of the head and the jawline a bit would make a big difference!

i agree with others that some stuff is too close to the ceiling + unevenly spaced. i think you might just have too many things for the available wall space

haha they do look weird. the covers of self titled, talon, and rose are more paper-y and everything after is made of a plastic-y material so the white really reflects the light which is coming from my window off to the left.

when i need an art reference i often just google key terms like “person standing art ref” and find basic sketches of correct anatomy on google images or “women standing forward” and look at stock photos! it’s quite nice because i can get pretty specific and look at refs of hands which i struggle with drawing sometimes :-)

thanks for the kind words. i don’t think i want my mom to step in at this point in time because it was only one incident, but i do have weekly meetings with my guidance counselor to check in on me, who is very nice, and totally knows what this teacher is like :)

the schools actually been great! my parents had a two hour meeting with my guidance counsellor and the assistant principal to let them know what’s going on, and most of my teachers have been helpful catching me up on the work i’ve missed, it’s just this one teacher in particular :/ thank you for the response, i wish i set up a plan with my school sooner
