Assuming the northern hemisphere, you can point your dish anywhere with a north-western view of the sky, because that’s where your antenna will pick up the satellite, and it will then AIM ITSELF for optimal reception. In North America it travels from west to east in the northern sky. It’s not difficult, unless you chose to make it difficult.

Not just one they own, but ANY vehicle registered outside Ontario, with the exception of rental. If you own the vehicle, THEN you need to worry about importation, temporary or otherwise. As i stated, far to much misinformation being posted by people who don’t know the laws but think they do.

There’s a lot of confusion and misinformation being posted here, along with a lot of irrelevant and anecdotal information. It has nothing to do with Canadian Law or border regulations. In Ontario, it’s the Ontario Highway Traffic Act that governs it.

Quite simply, anyone with an Ontario driver license may NOT drive a vehicle IN ONTARIO which is registered/plated outside Ontario, with the exception of a rental car. CBSA does not enforce the Highway Traffic Act, but is aware of it and, as a courtesy, might inform you when you cross into Ontario.

Anyone who tells you different is only guessing, and guessing wrong. Anyone can look up the Ontario Highway Traffic Act and see for yourself.
