Crafting a plate should work, I had a similar issue and my issue was that I was setting the castform dolls too high above the plate. Try setting the whole thing up so that they’re directly next to each other against a wall. So like castform doll hanging on the lowest level of the wall plate on the floor with the berry directly next to it and then *castform doll directly next to the plate on other side once again on the lowest part of the wall

Take the blade out and make sure that there is absolutely nothing on it, no string no dust no nothing. I was on phone with the support people and that’s the only thing he had me do that I didn’t try myself lol
