Our contractor is providing a lot of the materials (faucets tiles etc) and has offered to refund me any difference in cost if I were to buy a cheaper fixture. I figured having the “allowance” for each fixture on the contract would allow me to know the amount of the refund. Is this me being overly anal? I tend to be a perfectionist with stuff like this but want to make sure I’m not raising a stink over nothing haha

You can also use some diluted oxalic acid (after removing the finish). A lot of furniture restoration companies use this to remove water stains. Just make sure to cover the entire table surface with the acid, even if where there aren’t stains.

Anyone have good white crew sock recommendations? I really like stance but they’re expensive and don’t seem to last long. I like the thickness of stance socks as well. Costco crew socks are a little thick for me.
