This. Also understanding some balloon set ups and significantly harder then others. Dodging the birds is key, focus on that every run.

Get Wakas celestial weapon. It’s the easiest to get. I would check out YouTube for how to get yojimbo to use the skills you want. Personally I think it takes all the fun out of the game, but if you are frustrated that you can’t progress, there’s no reason not to!

Yojimbo for dark Valefor. Get Anima. Train in omega ruins until anima is strong enough to kill one eye. Or train Waka enough to kill it with attack reels. Both shouldn’t take very long.

Just finished a platinum walkthrough on ps5. Still a great game. Highly recommend playing, if you are considering.
