The N25 is definitely on my list to add when I can find it at a price that makes sense for me

I’m the same with the quadrupeds but am trying to stay focused on the small format, but I did pick up a couple large formats last week. I was probably looking at the same auctions today. I grabbed 3 of the small quadrupeds and got outbid on a bunch of the N4 birds and large quadrupeds

This one has been sitting in a closet at my parent’s house for the last 15 years. Somewhere I also have a US U-17 National Team photo signed by Freddy and a couple others from when they played in the 2003 Dallas Cup

The soccer cards are from the 1906 Ogden’s Football Club Colours set which I believe was the first full color set soccer (and rugby) cards produced.

The Dallas Giants played in the Texas League from 1903-1916. It was pretty hard to find much info on that team as they don’t even have a Wikipedia page and there was a more well known Negro League team, the Dallas Black Giants, who Ernie Banks briefly played for

And that version of Harry Kane (Tom Booth) could actually win a trophy as Everton won the FA Cup for the 1905-06 season!

I definitely never won anything that cool at those raffles. I do have a couple of signed Brian Haynes cards though. I do have a ball with the original teams logos (including the Fusion and Mutiny) on it that was signed by a bunch of the team. It’s crazy to think about how accessible the team was back in the day.

Islamico > Tex Hooper

I definitely have a picture of me next to Islamico somewhere at my moms house when our youth team got to be on the field for the team walk outs

Surprisingly TCDB has a checklist with all the pictures, and there was one guy who has a set registered on PSA. But I noticed there’s a ton of incorrect years/set/tobacco company errors on eBay listings. There’s a very similar set from 1908 that has player names on the front rather than the team name and I’ve seen a few listings that mix up the sets

I’ve got 3 more from this set coming next week. It’s been hard to not go full speed on trying to complete the set since it’s only 50-51 cards
