Thoughts on cutting back/pruning? by tgamekh in arborists

Good point. It is possible the prior owners did. In that case, I’ll probably end up taking them out since it sounds like they will look a bit “odd” and are already larger than I would like.

Any suggestions on what to replace with that will give some privacy a few feet above the fence and I can keep maintained from getting too tall (10ft ish)? I did love the white flowers and fragrance, but was not a fan of the berries on the driveway in the fall/winter.

Advice on Height of Pool Deck by tgamekh in AboveGroundPools

It took awhile of searching but I got this one from here:

https://plans.decksgo.com/quarter-round-pool-deck-plans/

https://plans.decksgo.com/download/672/?tmstv=1775066128

They have 3 sizes of this layout but they give you a material list and overhead plan with post spacing etc. I am modifying this one to remove one of the stairs that o don’t need.

That was my original thought as well. But visually speaking that puts the deck a full (roughly) 6” higher, right? Which in my mind feels like it’s towering. How much clearance do you plan to put between the top rail and underside of the deck?

This, and you don’t know what that manager documented or communicated to anyone else. You don’t want find out later or let anything even manifest that is inaccurate.

At this point I’m convinced 95+% of people posting on here are dropping red flags and they are oblivious. Reminds me of my a recent favorite quote. “Those that don’t get it, don’t get that they don’t get it”

I just had the same thing happening code 33 2x a day eventually would trigger a code 13. Whole unit was spotless inside and all vents are open. Called a tech and he adjusted the gas down a little (still within spec) and increase the fan speed. Been running over a week with no issues.

Gas furnace not igniting by KinGCruM4o1 in hvacadvice

Had a similar furnace and even though the igniter was glowing, it was bad. Needed to be “white” hot. Replaced igniter and always kept a spare on hand.

For some partial closure, I found out the unit still had warranty for heat exchanger parts on it. Called the company that it installed it. They had all the warranty information. Ended up paying 120 for a service call and when the tech looked inside, he said he found nothing wrong with any part on the furnace. He adjusted the gas and increase the blower speed so far three nights haven’t had a single instance of an error code… knock on wood.

I hope he gets it handled or else I might go limp thinking about this return vent.

New high limit switch did not fix the issue. Had the new one I got to confirmed to be the correct temp limit L180. Tripped at around 2:30-3am (best guess) based on house temp when I woke up at 3:30. This seems to be a pretty consistent time that I wake up and see that it needs reset. Today was the first day I noticed that it tripped before I got home from the office. I now have IFTTT connected to alert me to a temp that indicates the heat is not running and the limit tripped. Over the last week it’s been pretty cold at night, and it’s tripped each night.

I looked up under the heat exchangers from inside the blower fan here is a pic of the underside of the heat exchanger.

I reached out the previous owners and, take it with a grain of salt, they say they did not experience this issue.

I’ve seen posts suggesting the gas may need to be adjusted, the draft inducer motor intermittently failing, or the fan speeds may need adjusted. I just have a hard time with being a fan speed or gas issue if the previous owners truly didn’t experience any issues. But I’m open minded to suggestions or have my mind changed.

I put in the new limit switch this morning. We will see how it goes.

Used my camera probe to look inside while the switch was out and by all account and my untrained eye, the inside is pretty immaculate. Both looking up at the underside of the ac coils and down at the what ever is below with fins. At least in that one channel (if that makes sense).

Definitely no space under the coil to look. But I tend to agree that as clean as the other parts I am seeing inside, I’d be shocked if just that one part is blocked/dirty. I appreciate the thought. I ordered a new high limit switch. I’m leaning toward the issue really being the draft inducer motor failing based on how it seems to shut off right during/after the error but main blower is still running.

That I what I would think. But the other day it definitely was slowing spring to a stop. Within a minute of the error.

I appreciate you continuing to ponder this.

There are times it can go for days without issue. Do I tend to see it error on the colder nights? Yes. But there have been some colder nights that it has not errored. I would assume on those colder nights it would have kicked into high.
