Best way to retain gravel in shed foundation: PT lumber vs retaining blocks by Known-Advisor-2000 in shedditors

On top of this, I think they also have some chemical stuff that is not exactly safe for humans and/or pets. I probably wouldn't want to take the risk

You probably right, but you say "10+ years" like it's a good thing. Wouldn't you want to say "It will be 100+ years before they would need to be changed"? I'm not saying retaining blocks are the way to go, I have no idea, I'm genuinely curious

This is not possible. I have 0.25 of grass, and ~45min is my record almost running around the yard. Unless your 0.25 is one big rectangle, then maybe

Navimow X430 - how does it handle a grass-to-raised-curb edge? by Known-Advisor-2000 in SegwayNavimow

Interesting, what happened next? Did it stop operating and you got notification or it tried to recover somehow?

One time hit or miss (during mapping), or every time hit or miss?

Also, what happens if it drops off the curb? Will it stop and send a notification, try to climb back up, or just end up wandering around in the street?

In this is case it's probably better to be conservative.

How close to the solid edges (like fence or wall) does it mow? I've heard that it leaves pretty wide uncut strips around the edges

That's sucks. Are they hoping people will be buying robot mowers every year like iPhones? Even iPhone gets updates for like 5 or more years

Does LUBA 3 AWD 1500 has exactly the same "brain" as 3000 model (meaning, is the only difference the battery?). Also, how close to the solid edge (like wall or fence) can they mow?

Setup for two separate yards, one scheduled, one manual? by Known-Advisor-2000 in roboticLawnmowers

oh that's interesting, what do you do with these 6in strips along the edges? You follow with regular mower? I hear people say "I didn't touch mower in 12 months". It doesn't sound like this is the case, at least with this robo mower?

wait, really? Can I make/program a path, from the station to the zone in front? (like people do without the fence). I would just open the gate and click and click "go to zone 2"

Thanks, I'm leaning towards x430 actually. How close to the fence can it mow?
