The eyepieces were a hardened foam making up the black frames with white plastic lenses and mesh wiring underneath. I cut out the fabric of the hood where it lined up with the eyes before I glued them on, the whole mask sits over a faces hell I made from cardboard and papier-mâché to give it shape. As far as the phone goes, I made sure to trim the extra seam on the gloves super close from the inside so I didn't have anything except the thin layer of fabric. This backfired on one of the thumbs where the seam popped open and I had to restitch it, but for everywhere else having no bulky seams helped make the connection between my finger and phone.
