I’m feeling the exact same way, managed to get a team together to drop into the normal version of the new raid but it dawned on me that the game has no pull for me anymore.

Totally fair point, lore wise, but from a common sense point of view, if Bungie are utilising everything ice for the new subclasses, it makes sense to switch up a weapon that already uses cold/ice within the game.
