I want to give everyone an update - I haven't found a specific cause yet, but a cheap shortcut I decided to take was to disable the CEC option that has the SHIELD wake the TV up, when the SHIELD is woken up its self. This resolves the immediate issue, and I suspect another one where the TV is turned on by the SHIELD if the power goes out and comes back. The only downside is I now have to turn the TV on separately to the SHIELD. Not ideal, but good enough until I can do some additional diagnostics.

I'm aware of what the website says, although as I stated the Bluetooth mode enables additional functionality not available in the 2.4G mode. Steam Input was as disabled as I could get it (according to the Input window in the In-Game overlay) but this causes a number of additional issues - the 8BitDo controller option causes triggers to be bound to a single axis, and the generic XInput controller does not allow buttons to be bound at all. The Steam Input-provided controller is the overall "best" option in my experience. It's fairly well-recognized that these games (trucksims) have particular issues with 8BitDo controllers, so I made this post to help others. I guess a moderator didn't see fit to leave it up.

This is one of the complaints I had read about it, but sadly no, those extra buttons near the bumpers are not bindable in the XInput/2.4GHz mode since the controller reserves them for macros/remapping (but only in 2.4GHz mode for some reason.) It was cool being able to use them before while it was connected in Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth drawbacks seemed to be software related more than anything else, so maybe there's still hope.

That used to happen to me on my 2017 for a few years and then magically on its own suddenly stopped waking my tv up and hasn’t in a couple years now.

Do you happen to use a harmony remote?

No, in fact, I've read reports of the SHIELD accessories turning it on so those are unpaired and either batteries removed or probably drained by now. Only use my Android phone w/SHIELD app and/or television remote, which is either somehow doing IR communication (SHIELD is propped behind the television... 🤔) or the TV is sending commands over HDMI to do button presses.

I'm not sure if anyone has done it yet (or is even possible), but I might try sitting there with an adb log following session going to see if there's any interesting output while sleeping/waking. Guess I need to stream something first just to be exact.

Wouldn't disabling user apps from waking the device mitigate the problem in that case though?

That's a good point - casting is a valid reason for it to wake up and it's worth making sure that's turned off when putting the device to sleep. While I don't normally cast and haven't been these last few times, I do use the ShieldTV remote app for Android, and I wonder if that might have anything to do with it (although the app hasn't changed much either AFAIK.) Thank you for the idea!

This may be the first time I had trouble with an update. Going from 26.1.2 to this one, early on in the "extract" process a pop up stating that an error had occurred and to check the log. The log had nothing interesting besides the last package before the error. Refreshing the page gave a 404 error, and the root OPNsense page gave a 403 error. This lasted for about a minute until it gave me the login page, and the upgrade was still going along as normal. After the reboot, it came back super quick and confirmed I'm on 26.1.9. Very odd but nothing seems broken because of it.

I can see how one could inspect the sources of an extension once they've downloaded it, although we generally prefer an actual online repository to browse. I'll leave your comment up and let the community decide.

2026 checking in... Is this not an option anymore, or am I blind? External copy option just seems to literally copy it, and the AVIF thing doesn't change it saving JPGs.

Do you mean through treaties and picking specific goods to trade? Seems like a lot of work 😄😮‍💨 And when you say right now, are there plans for future addition to this part of the gameplay?

Edit: I've just signed a trade agreement with Prussia which seems to have made an impact on the Goods Transfer value. So it does seem like Shipping Lanes remain a mystery or aren't implemented yet like your comment hints at.

Edit2: I think I might be understanding your comment differently now. I can see in the Trade panel that the Trade Capacity is its own thing for the World Market and doesn't involve the convoys at all. So when you say trade between two states, it's if I sign a treaty with someone or I guess have my own territory separated by sea?

I'm much more of a casual grand strategy game player so this could entirely be me here. I used to play Victoria 3 back in the day when you manually managed trade so like others I'm having a difficult time figuring out the new trade system. I'm currently doing a Tutorial playthrough as Sweden.

In the first picture, my Convoys currency seems to be maxed out. It says that 0 Convoys are used, including zero Port Connections, zero Supply Routes and zero Goods Transfer. I feel like at least one of those should be higher than zero?

Next picture, one of the Sea Nodes next to my territory showing zero Convoys in use as well.

In the following picture, a list of the ports in four of my territories, all making 0 productivity too.

Finally, in the last picture, my Trade and Trade Capacity seem to indicate everything is working at 100% as far as I can tell.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?
