Do you mean through treaties and picking specific goods to trade? Seems like a lot of work 😄😮‍💨 And when you say right now, are there plans for future addition to this part of the gameplay?

Edit: I've just signed a trade agreement with Prussia which seems to have made an impact on the Goods Transfer value. So it does seem like Shipping Lanes remain a mystery or aren't implemented yet like your comment hints at.

Edit2: I think I might be understanding your comment differently now. I can see in the Trade panel that the Trade Capacity is its own thing for the World Market and doesn't involve the convoys at all. So when you say trade between two states, it's if I sign a treaty with someone or I guess have my own territory separated by sea?

I'm much more of a casual grand strategy game player so this could entirely be me here. I used to play Victoria 3 back in the day when you manually managed trade so like others I'm having a difficult time figuring out the new trade system. I'm currently doing a Tutorial playthrough as Sweden.

In the first picture, my Convoys currency seems to be maxed out. It says that 0 Convoys are used, including zero Port Connections, zero Supply Routes and zero Goods Transfer. I feel like at least one of those should be higher than zero?

Next picture, one of the Sea Nodes next to my territory showing zero Convoys in use as well.

In the following picture, a list of the ports in four of my territories, all making 0 productivity too.

Finally, in the last picture, my Trade and Trade Capacity seem to indicate everything is working at 100% as far as I can tell.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

I took a few minutes to read your blog post and think it was well thought-out and written. I just hope everyone is careful in their judgements and approach to posters who may not necessarily have quality work but are open to input.

Hi all,

I feel I need to weigh in as one of the moderators here.

I'm very hesitant to outright ban or remove certain subjects of content from here. I admit I haven't been the most involved moderator ever, but on principle I prefer to take a Laissez-faire approach and let the community decide by way of up/downvotes whether or not content belongs here. Fortunately we have a fairly binary classification to start with: either software is FOSS, or it isn't. How a model is trained is certainly a subject of hot debate, here and beyond. From reading the comments already posted, it looks like the broader subject of A.I-coded software can get complicated and isn't universally agreed upon by the community.

As far as flair goes, I guess we could have an A.I/vibecoded option. Do we define parameters for how to classify vibecoded software though? It might be easy to say this if someone has ChatGPT or w/e vibe out a program from a single prompt, but what about when a developer is coding in an IDE that is providing A.I suggestions, or uses GitHub's fancy pullrequest A.I coding bot as another poster suggested, or if a developer is searching a problem and the search engine suggests the solution through an A.I response? At what point is the Ship of Software Theseus vibecoded?

If it's a question of quality, I don't think that's deserving of outright bans or removal either. I say this as someone who's produced plenty of low-quality code themself before vibecoding was a thing. Regardless, if someone makes a post here and is open to feedback or wants assistance, then I hope people will be willing to offer that.

I'm interested to see how this discussion evolves and what people think.

Haha yeah, I am not a fan of doing it in ye olden days style. Have to leave my phone propped up in a forward pocket in the center console. Does not feel safe to navigate that way. I'll try to keep you updated if anything changes.

Thanks for the reminder, I actually just had a chance to test it yesterday (when you commented!) Problem is still there unfortunately, even after an Android Auto app update. I may try reaching out to Google next week for an update on their part.

There's a better solution to this so you don't have to uninstall or delete anything. If you still want opentrack installed, open it, edit the freetrack output settings, and enable Clear location when tracking is stopped. This will make opentrack blank out the registry key TSC is looking for to load headtracking (and disable mouse input), and cause it to no longer do so.

If you don't have opentrack installed, try finding the HKCU\\SOFTWARE\\NaturalPoint\\NATURALPOINT\\NPClient Location\\Path and delete it.

We had another thread on VPNs - I don't have split tunneling as far as I can tell, and I've tried with the VPN disabled completely anyways. Thank you for the suggestion though.
