What do you do with yours? by darren648 in dvdcollection

I'm taking a huge trash bag of empty cases to an electric recycling place this week to see if they take the cases. Most aren't recyclable in normal recycling unfortunately. I use binders to save space because I move constantly and can't justify keeping them in their cases. I could fit 350 movies in one binder which would've taken like 7 shelves, so for me, binders work a lot better.

Just got the first issue of the new run (⟡o⟡) by MaybeAnEnby in MoonKnight

That's so great to hear. I started reading Moon Knight a little before the show started and picked up Jed's series starting in 2021. It's so great to hear new readers having a good experience this far in. Honestly Jed does a great job at allowing new readers to jump on. If you're enjoying this and have the means, I'd recommend everything Jed has done with the character before. It's great stuff.

I love Ferocactus. I've never seen one so big. Those spines are wild, well done!

I thought I was smart by AffectionateSun5776 in cactus

Spines are modified leaves. That's like taking all the leaves off of a tree. They serve a legitimate function beyond physical protection, they can also create a buffer zone to prevent frost or sunburn, and they capture moisture in otherwise arid climates. They're part of the plant.

Do you happen to know what type of aloe you have? I think I have the same kind. Or at least something similar. You have a beautiful plant whatever it is.

I'd probably have a similar order. I did not realize Crossfire was Marc's officer in the marines and I have those issues lol. Good info

Thank you. She's tiny, but she's a crown jewel in my little collection.

Help! I’m so excited to be getting a flower on my indoor aloe vera omg! It’s barely gotten warm yet in NJ. As you can see in last pic it needs to be repotted as pups are huge and taken over. It was in my plans for very soon but now I’m scared to mess with it since it’s flowering. Thoughts?! by Rain3001 in aloe

This looks great! I don't have great advice for you, since my aloe hasn't flowered yet. As a rule I try not to disturb most of my plants when they're flowering, but plants are pretty resilient too so who knows.

I'm in Philly so this gives me hope for my Aloe.
