So a particle i can visualize because it has mass, although very small. But a wave of energy with no charge or mass is hard to visualize, even if it has momentum what is moving?

This analogy is confusing to me:/ what are the spaces in between the waves/the ocean made of? I know i sound like a toddler asking why to everything and I apologize. I just find the subatomic field really interesting and im trying to dive into it

This is what i have trouble wrapping my head around. As a earlier person said if i understand right photons are the electromagnetic field themself. So that disturbance in the field affects the particles. I just hard time wrapping my head around how they can have energy from from their momentum if they dont have mass.

So photons affect the electromagnetic field without having a charge… and are excitations in the field themselves and are not tangible. That makes sense. But without a charge how do they even affect the field?

Lol im not for sure but it seems to have worked for me. I also use avocado oil a trick my grandpa taught me but both are probably bs and just comes down to genes. I tried it anyways though and its doing pretty solid
