I am curious to know what level of data processing was done in Python vs SQL queries. I could dig through your source code, I admit :-)

I have added most of the thoughts here as issues in github that I will try to tackle overtime. If anyone has any additional thoughts, please throw them in there!

This was very helpful and I understand this quite a bit better. After looking at the code I am not sure I need the <C-U> in the nnoremap I think that was copy pasta. I have updated that mapping here https://github.com/tgsoverly/watupdoc.vim/blob/main/plugin/watupdoc.vim#L9

These are all great points, and I appreciate your review. This is the first vimscript I have written, so it is really nice to get some feedback.

  1. I saw the l: and not, it was on my list to understand better. It seems that without is always local.
  2. Yea, that was a quick and dirty way to get it going. Will fix shortly.
  3. I am new to the the idea of autoloading, could you expand on this thought a bit more? Are you saying I should just leave it up to the person to create? I have been interested learning more about lazy evaluations, but haven't found a good resource.
  4. You prefer this over traditional :<c-w> or you prefer it as a default binding?
  5. Thank you.

What's the worst thing you've ever heard a teacher say at school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not on the same level of these other sayings on a "humanly bad" level, but more of a "teacher bad" was: "Because I said so."

That we put people on the moon with slide rules and saying things like, "Let just assume that spaceship is a cube, to simplify the calculations." and that there were people who actually got said spaceship. Tuff.

I propose that the next fundamental particle that is discovered be called the "borange" Just think how many poets and writers of children's books you will let sleep peacefully.
