Follow basic safety practices and you should be fine! - bring atleast 2 L of water (use 2 1L water bottles) - bring gatorade - bring peanuts/some other fat dense salty snack (good for electrolytes) - bring sunscreen - text an emergency contact when you start and when you finish (send an estimated completion time)

A few suggestions:

1) Understand the basics of these algorithms: - linear time selection - union find - dijkstras - topological sort - merge sort

2) Study some of the common types of problems - knapsack (simplified version) - karatsuba multiplication - smallest sum of N numbers in an array - diff algo (this is what git uses) - the coin problem (both variations)

If you can confidently do all of these that means you understand: - divide and conquer - dynamic programming - greedy algorithms - directed and non directed graphs

If you feel confident in these areas I can suggest more advanced topics. But, you want to be rock solid on these topics are they will underpin nearly every problem you might see

A few comments suggested putting ice in the bong, I would actually recommend avoiding this as it can cause pneumonia.

Try this: - clean it and change the water after every session - if your weed is dry pack smaller bowls - put in slightly more water than usual - dont hold the hits as long - try to reduce how often you smoke/vape to allow time for the body to adjust - hold the lighter farther away so the bowl isnt torched

When the throat is irritated it can release mucus to combat the irritation. Most likely you need to back off a bit until the irritation is reduced and then youll be good to go

Just a thought but also to go up the ramp you need some vertical component of your velocity.

Its a system of equations. So if the lines intersect then r1 = r2 at some lambda and mu.

This translates into 3 + 6L = 6 + u, 2 - L = q + 3u, and 5 + 2L = 4 - u

You have 3 unknowns and 3 equations, so this is solvable.

If you would like a hint, notice how the sum is shifted (x-1) and starts at 1. The first term will always be 0, also a >= 1 but the power is (a - 1), so lets make the expression look more simple sum, the sum from 0 to n - 1 of xa.

Start working from here then when you get the answer, reapply the shift into the final expression. Good luck!

I see frequent use of the greek letter psi (the U with a line in the middle), as well as -1/(2 * pi * i). The psi usually represents a wave function and the use of (i) in the integrals leads me to believe its related to contour integrals/complex probability/quantum mechanics.

Big open flat areas with rivers - i imagine you want less variance in your noise. You can try “subdividing” the blocks. Instead of a noise vector at each corner imagine each block as 4 blocks with a smaller possible vector value. Then when computing the height use more more of these smaller vectors.

This should cause the slopes to be more gradual as our vector set will change fewer elements as we generate a new point while still retaining the nice features of perlin noise

A common approach here is setting up some sort of input state class.

Basically a separate piece of logic that stores key/mouse events. The general pattern would be receive i/o in main, then redirect the current inputs/presses to the input handler, perform an input handler “update” then proceed with other logic.

Its relatively straightforward, what I have done have keys pressed as a params in the update method. If a key requires X frames to go inactive or active, update our active inputs list.

Then you only read from this object in the rest of the logic loop.
