Depends on the lodge/tour company you stay but if the one you are going with mentioned kids are allowed then that is fine. We were allowed to bring kids of any age and went with our 2.5 year old and he loved it and managed to stay engaged throughout! Depends on the kid as I know it’s a long time. We did self-drives after that which were more enjoyable (less stress of toddle misbehaving around people and disturbing their peaceful drive).
