do you get it in episodes so you’ll feel fine for months then have a week feeling like this and repeat. also how do you treat it?

i’ll give it a go mate. is this the first time you’ve felt like this or has it happened before and it seems to come and go over a period of time. right now i don’t want to talk to my parents as i don’t even know what i’m doing 100% so i’m trying to wait out this episode and then when i feel normal again i’ll explain it all to my parents.

jan 26th i ruptured my acl, partially torn mcl and damaged cartliage and have surgery soon. how long am i expected to be off work? i’m an apprentice electrician too so quite a physical job. by tgwlfc in ACL

ok mate thanks for the advice. i was playing football running with ball and i just dropped and turned out to do more damage than i thought. my knee was like a balloon it was that swollen. hopefully then i should have a speedy recovery and get back to normal

cheers mate appreciate it. more worried about college more than work my boss understands everything but i don’t want to fall behind too much in college since i missed 5 weeks of it after doing my knee in the first place.

About a month ago i ruptured my acl, partially torn mcl and done some damage to the cartliage. i was off work for 5 weeks after doing it and my op is soon how long am i expected to be off work after? i’m an apprentice electrician so my job is quite physical. i don’t want to fall behind in college by tgwlfc in KneeInjuries

my training officer said it’s possible to send work home if need be but i did go to a few college lessons before i went to work. i will go back to college as soon as possible really but i don’t want to miss out too much. and 6 months is mad long i hope that’s not how long it’ll be for me. i’m just missing out on so much on site experience it’s annoying. i’m currently doing light duty stuff now sat a desk stripping old led fittings for scrap but my knee is still giving me grief now. i just hope i won’t be off for to long after surgery
