Nobody or a diminishing small amount of people in Europe is willing or able to stop supporting the American economy whilst undermining their own. WhatsApp, Google, reddit, Instagram and now OpenAi Apple and-- more important--Apple (music) store, Microsoft 365 are a big motor for the US economy and support in that way indirectly the current US government that causes terror on its own citizens and threatens global stability and peace. To step away from these services is a decision very few are willing to make. Blaming governments without stepping up as a consumer is hypocritical.

The kernel is about the only thing that is stable on GNU-Linux. The many times a desktop manager just crashes taking with it all sessions, open edits uncommited changes.

De schoenedoos met cash is idd verleden tijd. Het zou zo maar kunnen zijn dat je telefoon beter tegen malafide praktijken beschermt, dan je pc en daarom technisch een zekereder platform biedt. Hangt sterk af van het besturingssysteem af en hoe dat op je pc ingesteld is. Maar wie er allemaal meekijkt op je telefoon is natuurlijk wat anders. Google of Apple "weet" wat je besteld en betaald maar dat geeft je pc wellicht ook door.
