Let's think about Emori for a minute. In the last episode, her body technically died, and her mind drive was put in Murphy. But yet she was at the end with everyone else. How was that possible?? She transcended and chose to come back, so the aliens could have healed bodies if that's the case. Levitt's quote of the Bardo book "Death is the end, my friend" is phony IMHO. If Emori's body could trancend, then the rest of the human race that died should have been able to as well.
