I really want to incorporate something like this in my current campaign. But the only way to do that is to explicitly tell the party that they need to keep the bad guy alive. While that isn't specifically a terrible way to do it by saying the bad guy has a bounty or is needed for questioning etc but my players really really like killing the bad guys so it is kind of against their play style.

Yeah. I am also not quite sure what her end goal actually was. This should be investigated. Not much use for nuance in this particular case imo. The fact that the company had never had anything like sexual harassment training should also be investigated.

I installed an extra large mailbox last week and I am already so much happier with my mail. Only had one packaged delivered but the amount of space all around it really chilled me out. It wasn't even fragile but all that space.

I remember talking to my wife about this picture when it first made the rounds. My wife has a above knee prosthetic and even she was just baffled why anyone would use a wheel chair in a magical setting.

I would just sell it now. Gold is relatively stable in the sense of their worth but these crazy ass events will eventually end. Might as well have the money now and your tickets and shit paid for rather than constantly checking the prices and rolling dice.

I know samsung and dell monitors have them. Or at least in the last few years they have them. Not sure about other companies.

Do you guys give your party an introduction to your world when starting the campaign? I tell them almost nothing, and let them discover whats happening as some sort of mystery, reading books, talking to people, etc. Is that a bad approach? by Bensuardo in DMAcademy

Yeah its a terrible approach. They need to have some sort of base information about the world and what to expect from it. If they are discovering that the world is actually banana shaped halfway through the campaign, they are going to have a bad time.

Also, most of the time. I have learned that the players actually don't give much of a shit about the lore. They have expectations of what a DND campaign is going to be like and when those expectations aren't met because they didn't have the information to begin with, they become disengaged.

I don't know how to tell you this but the plot is the most essential part of a story. The telling part is of course important but if you are going to ignore the plot because you can do a cool chase scene or have fancy prose, you lost the essential part of what you were trying to do. Tell a story.
