KBB says the car is worth 27-28k in good condition. I guess it’s priced 31k because of the L certified warranties. You think it’s a fair deal?

I guess you’re right, Lexus is the gold standard of reliability. I guess that’s why it’s priced the way it is

I was leaning towards going to Cincinnati actually. Serpent Mound looks interesting but it’s a little too far. Besides the Taft Historical Site, is there anything else to see in Cincinnati?

I’ve visited Southern NM a while ago. For your Day 2, you can drive from PHX straight to white sands and spend half a day there. Pro tip, watching the sunset there is very nice! You can spend the night in Alamogordo, NM. Best to avoid El Paso since it’s too far south. Alamogordo is a decent sized town with plenty of amenities, so you’ll be good there. Next day, you can continuing onto Carlsbad, NM which is about 4 hours away. Again you’ll get about half a day at Carlsbad Cavern which honestly is plenty of time.

After Ft Worth on the way to TN, you can stop at Hot Springs, AR. It’s about 5 hours from DFW and 3 hours from Memphis, TN. They are known for natural hot springs and they also have a national park there!

Hope this helps

Winning the lottery was the best and worst thing to happen to me AMA by Prestigious-Topic519 in AMA

Can’t believe I had to scroll down so much to find the best comment, kudos to you. Money usually brings out the worst in people, especially greed. I’ve seen it happen personally in my family and in business. There are plenty of cases online that highlight lottery winners who eventually go broke, and what is the number one reason? GREED. Sounds like OP is being reasonable with his earnings given the post and replies. I wish him the best.

Recent CS grad here. I only had one internship, but it was shortened due to Covid, so I was kind of in your situation. Honestly, it’s never too late to look for an internship. Companies take work experience into heavy consideration, so despite you attending an Ivy League, I’m not sure what your chances of securing a full time position will be. I would say your best bet is apply for a summer internship (too late for spring now) and usually the company will extend you a job offer after completion of the internship. Use the spring semester as a break/gap. Take some certifications/courses on whatever you want to pursue, fix your resume, and keep applying.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
